Rev. Green has earned the support of many of Durham's leaders:
"Changing A Generation Outreach Ministries, under the leadership of the Rev. Rodney Green, provides important services to many citizens in the City of Durham. Each week, several hundred persons who may not otherwise eat receive a good home cooked meal from this nonprofit...Durham citizens benefit from the vision and the energy of people like Rev. Rodney Green who are committed to feeding the hungry and comforting those who are in need of comfort."
Marcia L. Conner, Former City Manager City of Durham
"The Changing A Generation Outreach Ministries has made a tremendous impact on the lives of the needy and elderly people throughout the community and the city by providing much appreciated food and snacks to one of the nation's most vulnerable populations...Without hesitation, I can say the Changing A Generation Outreach Ministries is living up to its name as it has indeed changed what potentially was a very bad situation in the lives of many, into a positive experience. I pray that God will continue to bless the Ministry by allowing the Ministry to be a blessing to the people who are in need of their services."
Cynthia G. Watkins, Housing Manager The Housing Authority of the City of Durham.

"This Ministry has provided food for many in the City of Durham. Mr Green states his mission is seeking to save that which is lost and feeding the hungry without stipulation. I appreciate his willingness to make a difference in the City of Durham.
William V. "Bill" Bell, Mayor City of Durham
"Changing a Generation Ministry is a ministry that provides food for the homeless, broken hearted, downtrodden, and senior citizens. The ministry operates an emergency Food Pantry to aid the citizens in the Durham Community and the triangle area. The ministry also delivers food to the elderly in housing commmunities across the city. We rely on nonprofit agencies such as Changing a Generation Ministry to provide free food assistance to those in need. We appreciate their willingness to make a difference in the fight against hunger"
